Relegation battle JUST AS I PREDICTED A MONTH AGO.
Truth is we are not beating teams that got promoted - that is worrying - we are getting slammed by teams who go relegated - not as worrying just embarrassing.
One chance to get this righ in January Mr Powell or you will take us down.....simple as....

Till then we have to hope we pick up the odd win here and there to keep us above the bottom 3....once you get sucked in there you really are in the brown stuff.
On a plus side the L""DS" are as shite as we are and when we play them it will have added spice of being a real 6 pointer....

Onwards and upwards I say.....keep the Faith and all that utter bollocks.....

Till then bring on the Trotters and lets have a real go !

Wink

You going tomorrow then, Theo?

Yup. Don't miss many home games at the weekend. Miss a few midweek one's but only miss weekends if I'm away somewhere.

Excellent. The more people in misery the better. Big Grin

I'm not worried yet, Tim. I think Powell has enough about him to see us through. Of course we're going to be in a relegation battle. That's the only thing we could be in this division at this stage of our progress. Yes Bournemouth and Brentford are doing a lot better than we are but they will be back down again soon.

Worrying statement, but Powell reminds me a lot of Clark. More focussed on not losing matches than actually winning them. That mindset screwed us again yesterday as 88 minutes of decent (hardly good, they were gash) work was thrown away because we shit it the second they pulled a goal back. Odd selections, odd subs, the lot, very Clarkesque.

Just watched yesterdays goals. Can't believe how we gave their guy as much time as he wanted, to put the ball into the box for their first. It was like a bloody free kick for gods sake. Doh Clearly no chance for Smithies on either I would say! Really disappointed with Hudson to be honest. I know my opinion is mostly based on commentary and highlights and the odd game, so maybe it's not as valid as others. Genuinely thought this guy was gunna be the missing piece in defence  though!  Sad

Good point, JASOG. He's not the inspirational skipper that Peter was, but I do think he's a better defender. Where's Lynch anyway? He was meant to be back for Christmas.
