I'm allowed the odd typo Tongue

Don't think the band had a name to be honest, just a big group of mates that got on stage with Clapton for the Nordoff Robins Charity gig one very windy day at Knebworth.

Forgot to mention the two stonewall penalties we had turned down. Firstly the hand ball in the wall. There was an identical one given in a PL game last week, can't remember who. Arm was up, ball hit it, penalty.
And then a couple of minutes later, think it was Pipa, similar to the one Bacuna got against Wendy, trailing leg took him out. Penalty.
None of the highlights reels have shown these incidents though, so can't back up my conspiracy theory on this one. Whistle

Not your typo, theo. I was going off the You Tube headline.  Rolleyes

Ah now I see it. Ill get round to totting up favourite the old sweets points tomorrow so anyone nipping round The Olde Curiosity Shoppe and Apothecary for some late Christmas Shopping has a chance to throw a late bag of boiled sweets or tube of whatever in the mix if they so wish.

Well what a pleasant weekend of football, its probably the best I've felt in a long time.

Firstly Town win a game I gave them no chance of winning. Yes we were gifted the two goals but that makes a change for us.
We looked fairly solid at the back, Edmonds Green had another very good game
Schofield dealt with everything that came his way.
Bacuna put a shift in, did a lot of tracking back to help the defence out
Campbell scored a goal and made a nuisance of himself.

Then on Sunday Man Ure put Leeds to the sword, rolling around the carpet belly laughing i was.
That should keep the great unwashed quiet for a bit

And yet despite being spanked 6-2, the pillocks were still praising Bielsa. Unbelievable. Laugh

Aye, any other team would be slated for being so open and naive

And Tyler said "If Leeds weren't your second favourite team, they certainly are now."

Or summat like that. Deluded or what? Laugh Laugh Laugh

Scores in the weekend Kwik Kwiz on old sweets as VAR reviewed by the experts at Bletchley Park Junior and Infants school

Ritchie - 2 points, I particularly liked Spangles as a kid.
jjamez - 3 points as discussed before
Snoots - 0 points. Sorry Snoots, but Curlywurlys are still on sale in all good supermarkets - so you can still indulge your inner kid on Christmas morning if you get round there before they close on Christmas Eve.
AmChaff - 5 points. The Spangles thing was very nearly disallowed for repetition, but after a touchline TV monitor review, it was decided the Fizzy Spangles were different enough to be allowed. The Caramac bar however, like the Curlywurly is still available in all good supermarkets (or at very least Sainsbugs website). I particularly liked the Mintoes and I'm pretty sure there was an orange flavoured Waifa bar around too at one time. Thumb up

So the winner of this weekend's mug made from melted down old dental fillings is .........(drumroll)....... AmChaff. Thumb up Tongue

That woman was on fire this weekend.

We would have got Gary Lineker to present the Trophy but apparently he's been busy doing something on the BBC, or eating a bag of crisps. Whatever.

I doubt many of us do AmChaff Laugh, especially when there was the likes of Macintosh's, Riley's (loved their Toffee Rolls - someone in Wales still makes them) and others were in town and almost everyone had an aunty or an uncle that worked for them.
