RE: Next WBA Manager - All News, Rumours & Speculation - Worldclassalbion - 08-06-2019

You know something. I was in Normandy until yesterday celebrating the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. I was at the 60th,65th and 70th and many in between.

The French were flying the French, Canadian, American flag along with our own Union Flag. It’s like a breath of fresh air because here back in the UK to some including people in the government it’s a symbol of being racist and we don’t want to upset certain religious groups or ethnic minorities. In France it’s a symbol of hope and thanks and pride.

Whether black, white and every colour in between, whether straight, gay, bisexual, transgender or toaster, each to their own and good luck but the political correctness brigade and ‘snowflakes’ can’t reciprocate because there’s always something that will upset them.

I have many black, Asian, white, straight and gay friends but I can’t stand up and say i’m A proud, straight white man who loves the Union Flag and George Cross.

Why would that upset someone? I like 4eva did the same job as him and I concur I was at the bottom of the pile because of my gender, ethnicity and sexual orientation. In a world of political correctness we aren’t treated fair at all. It can leave one feeling a little resentment and uncomfortable because of who and what we are.

The world has moved on in a great way , especially Europe and thank god for that, but there will always be some people full of hate, including those mentioned above. that will never change.

Anyway who’s our next manager gonna be?

Phil, I certainly wouldn’t want to see the Long List Laugh

Oh dear .....

Better add him to your list Phil..
Wonder why he's resigned !!

Nigel Adkins is to leave his role as Hull City head coach after 18 months in charge of the Championship club.

BBC Humberside understands Adkins had agreed a salary and budget but rejected the offer of a new deal due to 'other contractual terms'.

Are we now caught by the new Rooney Rule they've just brought in, or if we're part way through the process does it not apply to us? Mind you, if we have spoken to Hughton that presumably counts anyway.

Not being funny but......
Isn't Hughton 1/2 caste? Does that mean we're obliged to interview another 1/2 caste?

Morning all, I like many others turn on this site several times a day waiting for some announcement of a new manager/coach. As we are now in the time when the squad returns for pre-season, anyone else of the opinion that the club are leaving it late again to appoint a new manager and another season of catch up is upon us?

Another one bites the dust. Rui Almeida, linked to us last week, is new Head Coach of SM Caen in Ligue 1.

That's OK Nigel Atkins has taken his place in the Queue  Wink Thumb up Doh

Reports in the E&S saying we need to reduce our wage bill (currently at £38M) - I'm amazed with £35M parachute payment and an expected £16.5 million coming from Rondon sale. and 11 players released saving £15M - its time to spend some IMO
Its not a race to the bottom.
