WestBrom to make move for x Arsenal forward...
Diaby, 27, has been in Belgium since the summer of 2015; in the three years following he’s managed to net 31 times in 91 appearances.

Reports in Belgium claim, however, that he wishes to leave Brugge this summer and that the club themselves are willing to sell Diaby at the right price.

He never played for Arsenal based on what I’ve found of his career history.

11 goals in 27 matches last season. 16 goals in 41 overall last season.

I think it is this man that you're thinking of Beefy - http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/abou-diaby/profil/spieler/26763

Anyway, from what I have read about Diaby, he seems to more of a fast, play on the last shoulder type of striker rather than what we've become accustomed to having. He'll suit a counter-attacking style of play where he can be played in behind the defence with his pace or where he can pull away from centre to get into space to then run with the ball. That is seemingly the role he plays for Club Brugge with his striker partner Wesley more of a target man.

He is 5 foot 8 so not the biggest and would probably need a striker alongside him, maybe Rondon or a similar type of player.

Who is actually scouting / recruiting for us at the moment, obviously a lot going on in the background.
I assume BD has generated a shortlist, but somebody must be feeding him who is available, etc, etc
Josh - you've not taken up a P/T role on the quiet?

It will still be Giuliano Terraneo identifying targets at the moment in addition to Big Dave.

Eventually a permanent Sporting Director will be brought in, probably when the season has started and the transfer window has ended because this is WBA we’re talking about.
