He's 30 (ish) still got a year or 2 in him. He is exactly the Pulis Type player (good in the air, can bully defences, English, will probably put a decent shift in, and has a decent eye for goal) Should work well with Ideye and Berahino too. He should be willing to drop down in wages, and would only cost us a few million max, so I see him coming in definitely.

Berahino / Ideye / Lambert is alright to be fair. With Nabi on the fringes to give us a different dimension.
Agree with everything you have said, but I wish he was 30 - he's 33  Cry

LAMBERT IN TALKS WITH WEST BROM

Sky sources understand Rickie Lambert’s representatives are in talks with West Brom over a potential move from Liverpool.

It is also our understanding that the deal for Lambert, who has just one year left on his deal at Anfield, would be a permanent deal.

Didn't realise he was 33... Bit of a difference from 30... Never mind, as long as he's cheap, and he can get / keep fit. We know he's not the type of player who is lightning over a couple of yards regardless of his age anyway!

...to me, anyway.... Cool

A massive WTF from me

Having seen the transfers going on, especially the newly promoted clubs, if our new benefactor doesn't appear we we are in deep doo-doo

Gonna stick my head out and say Watford are this year's QPR

Gutted about Watford signing Jose Jurado.

Always rated him very highly, cracking attacking midfielder who commits people and makes things happen.

I can see them doing quite well under Flores. Signing good players while we're linked with a bunch of Championship mediocrity.

...the same as it is every year, to be honest.
