RE: Summer Transfer Thread - Devongone - 20-07-2016

Bonneyman was the best player we had in my lifetime other than Gordon Banks ......... Ollie and his dad Ian genetically engineered into one body wouldn't merit appearing in the same sentence as him.

Otherwise I agree.

Gboly being chased by Cardiff, Oxford and Leeds.

We turned Leeds bid for Sam Hird down and Dan Gardner apparently off to Notts County.

RE: Summer Transfer Thread - bluepooch - 20-07-2016

If Oxfords second bid is nowhere near a million we should tell them not to bother ringing again.

RE: Summer Transfer Thread - Devongone - 21-07-2016

If we were keeping Mitchell, Ariyibi and O'Shea then Gardner might as well go.

Why on earth would Leeds want Sam Hird?

Man Utd want to bid for Pogba, Leeds want to bid for Ariyibi - if I were a fan of either club I would be thinking get it right this time ....

Liam Cooper could have recommended him because both of them played well at the back when Cooper was here.

You think? Cooper can't get in the team every week, why would they listen to him?

You think he might be able to play at that level now?

I reckon he's yards too slow.

Cooper's the captain isn't he? Sam Hird still a good player could play in Championship still.

Cooper's the Captain? Blimey!

Still think milk turns quicker than Sam. I can see why they'd risk looking idiots for signing a player they gave away over Ariyibi cos he's ripping the place up at the moment ........ but Sam's just a nearly man. He'd nearly be a full back if he were quicker, he'd nearly be a centre back if he were just a bit bigger, he'd nearly be that rare thing, a defender good on the ball, if his judgement were that bit better. He nearly made it higher at Donny, but he's on the way down now. He's fine for us, nearly surviving in the bottom half of Division One ......

RE: Summer Transfer Thread - spireitematt - 23-07-2016

Just looked Cooper's vice captain and someone called Sol Bamba is Leeds captain.

RE: Summer Transfer Thread - spireitematt - 31-08-2016

So Dan Gardner is linked with Notts County

Ebanks-Blake linked with Bristol Rovers

Charlie Raglan linked with Oxford

Offers from Brentford and Barnsley for Gboly apparently still remain on the table.

Also we signed Tom Anderson back on loan from Burnley.
