If we get rid of all the players that we are supposedly going to, that leaves us with a senior squad of 18 players.
We wont be able to fill the bench at this rate, here's hoping for some transfer action in the next few days!
That includes Ideye staying too

worry that after the JP statement that we will not sell Berahino we have papers saying that TP is saying bid quickly or miss out on him.
I am sure that like me saying I don't like fish and all the papers announcing that I only ever eat steak - but all the same, concerning.
In the same breath, if other clubs should get a wiggle on, then so should we. We are linked to so many players that it is becoming a bit of a joke. It might be that for some great buying plan to unfold we still need to know whether we build around or without Berahino?

I agree, hopefully its all bull. Selling our only scoring striker at this stage in the season would be suicide!
I hope it was just Pulis saying 'well if a bid of 30mil comes in we cant really turn it down' that type of comment then the papers type Berahino for sale. Utter bull.
But anyway, we could do with acting fast, if we get any injuries we will be down to the bare bones at this rate!

I'm really not feeling good about this window now. All the good targets seem to be going elsewhere or going nowhere. I think our hopes were raised a bit high by early comments from TP et al.
Really hope I'm proved wrong in the next week.

History tells us that you CANNOT rebuild a squad in January......Pulis or no Pulis.
Perhaps a half decent signing and a couple of journeymen. That'll probably be it.
However, I believe we have just about enough quality players for Pulis to mould into a team that will be hard to beat and will win a few.

I read that a deal has been agreed but not actioned yet - sounds like we are putting this in our back pocket and looking to see whether other options come through
