Leon Best or Peter Crouch, that's a really difficult choice with such a smorgasbord of footballing talent. You have to marvel at our manager's ambition, no wonder the club is powering ahead if he's interested in Leon Best.

Half decent players aren't going to rush to play in a Pulis team unless no one else comes in for them by 31st August. If that's the case we'll be picking up the dregs, and "the dregs" will have no time to gel.

Any potential Buyer who wants to own a Prem Club for more than 1 season should get his money into our Bank Account pronto so we can get early points on the board. If the Buyer doesn't understand that then I worry about his judgement and ability to run a Prem football Club.

Leon Best???? Please someone tell me I am looking up the wrong guy.

Leon Best: 14 league goals since 2011/12 and most of those in the lower leagues (only 4 league goals in the Championship since 2013/4 season)
Leon Best who has manage 37 first team starts since 2011
Leon Beat whose last 4 transfers have been 3 loans and a free

This has to be a wind up, surely not a chance we would be looking at this guy. (he has been invited in to train with us to keep fit E&S today)

That's what I suspect BV and a lazy journo has put 2 + 2 together and made 87. Don't know if you looked at the linked article but the opening para reads;

West Bromwich Albion are weighing up a move for former Newcastle and Southampton striker Leon Best, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Your Holiness, why isn't he training with Walsall then because even they are above his level?

Just saying Whistle  Wink

No, must admit I haven't read the article. 'Sources close to the club', eh? Straight from JP's office, I'm sure.
And Worldclass, you'll be suggesting he trains with the Wolves next - the poor bloke obviously still has his pride.
