RE: The Push for Promotion - Act 2 Season 2015-16 - Owlkev71 - 18-01-2016 Only stumbling block with Hooper will be wages, I'm sure that can be sorted though. RE: The Push for Promotion - Act 2 Season 2015-16 - Maddix - 18-01-2016 Burnley match rescheduled for Tuesday 2nd of February. RE: The Push for Promotion - Act 2 Season 2015-16 - Owlkev71 - 18-01-2016 Bolton have escaped a winding up order, the case adjourned till 22nd Feb. Sky Sports linking us and another team with Rhodes, £12m this time - we ain't gonna spend that kind of money and would rather have Hooper anyway. RE: The Push for Promotion - Act 2 Season 2015-16 - Imre varadi - 18-01-2016 Comments in the star about the pitch being wank again ? But it was the star ? and they also think Price played well ![]() RE: The Push for Promotion - Act 2 Season 2015-16 - Owlkev71 - 18-01-2016 Cant see anything about the pitch. It has worn a bit but its still 100 times better than last seasons. RE: The Push for Promotion - Act 2 Season 2015-16 - consilio - 18-01-2016 The pitch has started looking rough down the South Stand side but it doesn't seem to affect the roll of the ball etc. I wouldn't be happy if it had cost me a million quid though!! I heard Staton talking about it the other day and we are needing to invest in some intensive heat lamps to treat that particular area. RE: The Push for Promotion - Act 2 Season 2015-16 - Statesideowl - 18-01-2016 Sounds about right, Hillsborough has been left standing in 1993. It's only now we're updating/upgrading. It's going to take a year or two before we can set that right. Hooper even said after the L**ds game he wants to stay at Sheffield Wednesday. So if what he says is true, he should take a bit of a pay cut. Rags are reporting the problem is actually the fee now. It would seem Norwich (as expected) want to get about 4m out of us for Hooper so as to subsidise the 8m move they're allegedly making. Again, considering we threw a 5M bid earlier in the season for Nugent. We shouldn't have a problem here spending 4M to secure a proven striker whom has not only found his feet, but WANTS to be at Sheffield Wednesday. It's an effing no-brainer RE: The Push for Promotion - Act 2 Season 2015-16 - Washington - 18-01-2016 Agree Stateside especially after already laying out all the dosh to get him match fit. I assume that unless we start seeing tins of tuna and salmon for sale in the club shop then we're still good on FFP. I'm confident that DC's men started negotiating weeks ago on this and all will come good but maybe not by the weekend. RE: The Push for Promotion - Act 2 Season 2015-16 - Imre varadi - 18-01-2016 yep swallow dick and pay them 4 million and straight after send them xxxx Turner back and close all ties with the wankers !! sorry Turkey eating faggots !! RE: The Push for Promotion - Act 2 Season 2015-16 - themaclad - 18-01-2016 Rumour has it Jordan Rhodes is heading your way |
