RE: Next WBA Manager - All News, Rumours & Speculation - Arcane Astral Aeons - 24-05-2019

no foreign manager is going to come near us
we aint exactly a major European club are we
our foreign football expert can keep spouting out these names(that a majority of us have never heard of)
we are up S**T creek and we set sail without paddles
Owner needs to go back to his noodles and sell the club
would be interesting to know how many times he has been to our games since he took over?
been supporting this club since i was 8
never have i seen us in such a mess
Lai.......please fook off and let us get someone in that knows football
instead of chicken chow mein

Whoever we go for we've got to do it pretty damn quick. As mentioned so many times on here the size of rebuilding the squad for next year is huge. If we dilly dally about as we usually do, even the best HC won't stand a chance to get HIS players in/formations/tactics in time.
We need this sorted in the next 2-3 weeks.....
.... but I bet it'll be August and we're left with dregs.
Hope I'm wrong.

How long is the record for any PL or Championship club to not have a manager? Maybe we're trying to win an award?

#wba head coach update: West Brom will hold talks with Bruno Labbadia on Monday. Labbadia has left Wolfsburg and is a free agent. Other contenders set to be approached later this week

I don’t want to be picky but the only mistake with what Percy has said is that Labbadia has left Wolfsburg. His contract doesn’t run out until the end of June so he’s still a Wolfsburg employee until then, at which point we can then bring him in on a free.

Anyway, I’ll put my Sheldon hat to one side and say I really hope the talks go well and he’s interested in coming to us. The easier option for him is Hamburg but he’s been there twice already and been sacked twice so if he fancies a change of scenery, we’re a good club for him as long as the club give him proper funding.

Hopefully no more 35 year old free agents.
