RE: Meewwaaww v Town 31/10/2020 - Lord Snooty - 02-11-2020 Surely the goal line technology gave the second goal, Wakey. We're still using it aren't we? I don't think the liner gave it. Neither Oggy or Glennon mentioned the flag being up. RE: Meewwaaww v Town 31/10/2020 - WakeyTerrier - 02-11-2020 Do we have goalline technology in the Championship? The liner wasnt even in the piture when we scored so i've no idea if he flagged or not RE: Meewwaaww v Town 31/10/2020 - Lord Snooty - 02-11-2020 Been in use in the Championship since 2017/18. RE: Meewwaaww v Town 31/10/2020 - jjamez - 02-11-2020 It's good when I don't think that there was a poor performance in the side, even from those you just expect to be poor. Hopefully we can now find some consistency RE: Meewwaaww v Town 31/10/2020 - theo_luddite - 02-11-2020 Go to about 8'30" on the extended highlights - Millwall 'tator says t'liner gave it. though from the camera behind the goal he's already got the whistle heading gobwards. PS we have goal-line technology built in to the ref and liners watches, we don't have VAR, which to be honest has not exactly solved what it was supposed to solve in far too many cases, so happy not to have it. It still seems to be a matter of the opinion too often of someone in a portacabin in Milton Keynes rather than one of fact. They still use fewer cameras than Sky used to use when they were asked, nay, ordered to cease and desist as they were making the officials look like the incompetent pricks some of them are. However - it was far more obvious what the correct decisions should have been. |
