The reason I say Gallagher has to play is that he cannot play on Saturday due to it being against his parent club. So if he doesn’t play play the first chance after tomorrow will be either next week { if we beat Brentford } or Saturday 3rd of October. He has yet to kick a ball in anger this season. Needs games

Would make sense for him to play for sure.
But depends how highly Bilic rates him. Bilic usually doesn't risk those who he deems his most important players in these games.

I'm with you, I would like to see Ivanovic & Gallagher against Brentford, even if they only plays 45 minutes.
Brentford are obviously missing Watkins, but still have Benrahma and new signing Toney. Depends if they play of course. It won't be an easy game.
We should be far to strong for them if we don't pick all our reserves.

Got a feeling Brentford will be up for this after losing out to us so narrowly in the promotion race. On the plus side, even though it's been forced by necessity, I quite like this system of playing cup rounds in consecutive weeks. Gives our second string a better chance to gel together than only getting proper matches once a month.

Though we are now a Prem team with hardly any different players to last season, considering the results we'#d be wise tio play a full strength team - not reserves even though these players need a run out.
If we are winning, and if its still 5 replacements, I'd put them on for the last fifteen /20 minutes.
It'll be a hard game to win.
Is Grant playing cos he'd be cup tied if we buy him.

Grant is at Huddersfield and they went out 1st round, he didn't play, hasn't featured for them at all this season.
Side looks similar to what I would expect, but I didn't expect to see Ivanovic yet, so that's a bonus.
Will be good to see Ivanovic and Kipre together and also Gallagher.
My takeaway is that Grosicki is off as he's not even on the bench. Surely would've been at least a sub if he was staying. I personally prefer him to some of the other personnel in his position, but Bilic obviously doesn't rate him. Hegazi remains "injured" which makes the cynic in me think he's off as well.

The only positive is Gallagher looks a step up from anyone else on the pitch.
