RE: Huddersfield Town v Wigan Athletic - Lord Snooty - 17-06-2020 Should be getting a code by email on Thursday to enable you to watch on I-follow. Quote:Dear Mr Snooty, RE: Huddersfield Town v Wigan Athletic - WakeyTerrier - 18-06-2020 Codes have been sent out this morning, its all pretty straight forward. Question. When I've been to watch Town and we've gone 2/3-0 down I've usually retreated to the pub for the rest of the match. What am i going to do now? ![]() ![]() RE: Huddersfield Town v Wigan Athletic - Lord Snooty - 18-06-2020 Well that were a right faff. Tried ages to log in on our relatively new laptop. Couldn't get in so emailed the helpline. Suggested going on our old laptop, which is on it's last legs, finally managed to get on. So annoying! ![]() RE: Huddersfield Town v Wigan Athletic - Amelia Chaffinch - 18-06-2020 A ghostly Danny Cowley pre-match press conference ![]() ![]() RE: Huddersfield Town v Wigan Athletic - theo_luddite - 18-06-2020 i logged in and it wouldn't work for me either Snoots - on Chrome browser. I couldn't get any of the old vids to work, even though it said I was watching them. So I copied and pasted the URL whatsit from the top of the Chrome browser page and pasted it into Firefox. It worked and I hadn't even logged in on Firefox. Hmm, weird, how does that work? Anyway, had an online chat with some chap called Carlos, good old Yorkshire name that, and in between his 10 minute breaks in answers he suggested disabling AdBlocker on the Town page/Site (if your using one - this worked straight away for me) or allowing pop-ups. Wakey - get a beer out of the fridge and go sit in you own private beer garden, with Mitzy, how is the ol' gal? we've not heard from her in eons, with 5 Live or Radio L666s blasting out on the radio. If we're 3 down who cares if the neighbours don't want to listen. Why shouldn't they share the pain.? Fire up a BBQ and throw on a steak or two and some fat assed prawns and enjoy the fact you don't have to sit in traffic on Leeds Road at 5pm that's going nowhere fast. We allus park off t'Bratfud Road anyroad - it's a longer hike ovver t'Red Doles but we ne'er get stuck. Amchaff I guess that goes well with the ghostly crowd that will be in the stadium. Someone got the lighting wrong on the magic green background there. RE: Huddersfield Town v Wigan Athletic - Amelia Chaffinch - 18-06-2020 When I emailed Town they said people with Safari were having issues. We couldn't get in with Edge on our new laptop. I had tried to download Chrome when I set it up but Microsoft didn't approve... it even gave me a snotty message saying Edge is as good as Chrome. We haven't been able to load Zoom on to the new one, either. Therefore, Chrome on the old one came to the rescue in both cases. Yet, your problems are with Chrome. Is it just a case of luck of the draw? Our problem is that we need to give the old laptop a bit of notice. It's as slow as a Mick Wadsworth press conference. But it has been a good servant in its time. I don't want to hurt its feelings. RE: Huddersfield Town v Wigan Athletic - WakeyTerrier - 19-06-2020 Its weird isn't it. No problems for me although i already had an ifollow account. Yesterday an elderly neighbour asked me to set his up and it took me the best part of an hour to finally set it up This morning a mate of mine asked if i could help, it wouldn't let him use his email, i still haven't worked out why. It works for my login on his hardware. To test it i set Mitzi up with an ifollow account this morning and i managed to set it up in 30seconds flat. Theo- I've got my weekend planned out nicely and the only thing that could spoil it is Town, Multi football coverage, i could even stretch to 3 games at once at 3pm if i watch Town on the ipad Tonight Norwich v Southampton 18:00 Spurs v Man Utd 20:15 Tomorrow Fulham v Brentford 12:30 Watford v Leicester 12:30 Town v Wigan 15:00 West Brom v Brum 15:00 Brighton v Arsenal 15:00 West Ham v Wolves 17:30 Bournemouth v Palace 19:45 Sunday Cardiff v Leeds 12:00 Newcastle v Sheff Utd 14:00 Villa v Chelsea 16:15 Everton v Liverpool 19:00 Just need to squeeze a few beers into the fridge to see me through RE: Huddersfield Town v Wigan Athletic - theo_luddite - 19-06-2020 Our problem is that we need to give the old laptop a bit of notice. It's as slow as a Mick Wadsworth press conference. ![]() ![]() ![]() I've still got an old clunker like that in reserve, just in case. Much to my amazement it installed Windows 10 (it took a while) and ran OK as it had been on Windows 7 since "birth". It didn't (couldn't) slow it down any more but it didn't turn the old tortoise into a hare either. There were times when I was typing two rows in front of what was appearing on the screen with that one and I'm at best a 4 finger (ty)pist artist. All down to a deathly slow main microprocessor clock speed. Bugger all to do with how much RAM, Hard Drive space or any other bells and whistles they put on them. RE: Huddersfield Town v Wigan Athletic - theo_luddite - 19-06-2020 As regards to the problem I had with Chrome, I could in theory use Adblocker on any platform that it is compatible with - so it's telling that Adblocker thinks that iFollow is a form of advertising software. OOOooo'd a thunk that of the EFL? I use Adblocker on Chrome for all websites and disable it if I need to. I disabled it on the DATM website months ago but it's only recently that I've stopped getting the menacing messages about disabling it everytime I click on it. It seems a lot of websites don't know the difference between it being disabled on their pages and enabled in general. So there you have it - iFollow is advertising disguised as a paid for service and who knows what they are doing with your data while you are paying them to abuse it. RE: Huddersfield Town v Wigan Athletic - jjamez - 20-06-2020 This 9 sub bench is gonna be interesting, looking at some clubs they have a lot of strength in depth, others will be having problems filling it |
