Tbf, with Gamboa and Varela in for Wisdom and Dorrans that would be my first choice XI. Unfortunately the two players missing are the ones who actually offer us pace and width, so its still a crap lineup
I'm off out, not going to be happy if I come back and we've lost due to the same old defensive but not actually any good at defending rubbish

BTSport prior to game had Steve Clarke speaking. He said that the brief at West Brom is survival. It is our measure of success. I understand Premiership survival is key, but surely we can survive with a little style!
Also there has been 27 managers at West Brom whilst Wenger has been at Arsenal.

Why did we buy Ideye and what has he done wrong? No matter what the situation he just does not get to play. Most expensive player and yet not a consideration with our 'coach'.
I just about give up with AI. He is not convincing, inspiring or showing any promise.
Let's hope Ideye plays on the FA Cup and gets a hat-trick so he can't be ignored any more.

Not sure if I can be bothered to make a comment, just more of the same defend, defend, defend policy, just like the Wednesday fans said it would be. Two of allegedly our most creative midfielders not even making the squad.
5 home wins in 30 games, though not all AI's fault by a long way, but its just not good enough.

Got what we deserved for such a negative tactic - nothing.
When we pressed Arsenal in the last 15 minutes or so they looked really ropey at the back. Could deffo have got a point from this.

Does Wisdom have a clause when he signed for us that he has to play every week because Gamboa seems superior every time i've seen him come on.

None of these are quoted by Myself , but i have the same utmost contempt for the rubbish and undroppable players that Irvine gives us every week.
