RE: Brexit or Chesterfield FC - spireitematt - 12-09-2019 Apparently signing Gevaro Nepomuceno from Oldham, he's a winger. His name sounds like a very exotic coffee. RE: Brexit or Chesterfield FC - Dancingwilldoit - 12-09-2019 Here we go again? RE: Brexit or Chesterfield FC - spireitematt - 12-09-2019 Looks like he won't be playing on Saturday because he's on international duty still. Apparently he's a really good player and Oldham fans are disappointed he's going. RE: Brexit or Chesterfield FC - Dancingwilldoit - 12-09-2019 Not signed yet Matt. Could be another could have would have didn't. RE: Brexit or Chesterfield FC - spireitematt - 12-09-2019 (12-09-2019, 21:08)Dancingwilldoit Wrote: Not signed yet Matt. RE: Brexit or Chesterfield FC - Devongone - 13-09-2019 The whole of the EFL to look at, and all those non-league teams and where does Sheridan look - OLDHAM. How idle can you get? Torquay have been hammered only once this season, by Solihull the physically strongest team in the league. They went three goals down in the first twenty odd minutes didn't they? So I suggest if Sheri wants to play Gerrard, move Evans up front with Fondop-Talom and put Boden on the bench. Those two might unsettle the Gulls and steal their chips and if they don't Boden is as likely to score given 30 minutes at the end as he is in a full game. (And I don't think we should belt high balls up to the big lads.) RE: Brexit or Chesterfield FC - Dancingwilldoit - 13-09-2019 Dev, surprisingly for Sheridan, long ball is our game atm. We just dont have the midfielders to carry the ball or give that killer pass to a running forward. Its all side pass, back pass, side pass, back pass, hoof. Its depressing to watch as 90% of the hoofballs go to their players. When our midfield does hold the ball it invariably ends up with Rowley being brushed off it or Smith giving it away. Our midfield this season has either been non existent or just plain shocking. RE: Brexit or Chesterfield FC - Dancingwilldoit - 13-09-2019 And its a didn't. No new signings for tomorrow - its official. If the lad referred to is out of the country on international duty, I don't see how he could have ever been a potential signing. I don't think money bags Allen would fund a flight to god knows where to get a signature. How idle can you get? We need a scout who knows non-league who can find players in this division and below. The question also needs to be asked if he's that good a player and can change games then why would Oldham let him leave when they are 3rd from bottom? and why would he join us a team in the National League who are bottom of the league seeing as he apparently turned down Shrewsbury on deadline day who are in L1. Does it mean there never was a signing and this was said to keep the fans on board? and if he was going to sign then why would you announce it before he's back in the country? and does the player in question know he's joining? Also last week Sheridan said we didn't need anymore players and today it was reported that he asked the availability of 3 or 4 players this week but nothing yet has been done. Well which is it? is it 3 players or 4 players? Surely if you made enquiries then you would know the exact number. RE: Brexit or Chesterfield FC - spireitematt - 21-09-2019 1 win in 12 now. 2nd from bottom. I am resigned to the fact that we will get relegated this season. In the words of Roy Orbison IT'S OVER! |
