Rhodes scored goals for us in batches. He'd get 2, 3 or 4 in a game and then go missing for the next 3 or 4 games.

Our current strikers have gone missing for 3 or 4 seasons.
There was a right old rant by one bloke on his way out. Bawling his head off at Hodgkinson.
"Get your bloody cheque book out and buy some players," he eventually concluded.
Well, we can only get loans or out of contract players now and who uses cheque books now?

Just watched the highlights and the thing that really bugs me, apart from everything else is, the marking at the corner for the second goal. The scorer has a free run at the ball. Schindler is jumping from a standing position to challenge him. There are three players stood watching and fatally, there's no man on the post.

A bloke on the post would have handled it or headed the post the way we are playing. Otherwise it was obvious live he had a free header. Apparently teams score from ~3% of corners on average ....... except when they play us.
