RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2019 - theo_luddite - 16-05-2019 L666s eh? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() They even sent me to sleep last night when they went 1-2 down. When I checked the score when I woke up I nearly went before I reached the bathroom I was laughing that much. ![]() So, if their owner does what he said (or threatened) he'd do, that means there will be much more of a fire sale down the Skip than further investment. Meaning there might be a few good pickings (but not too many) once we off load our own big-time charlies and, unfortunately for us, a few that actually earned the right to play in the Prima Donna League next season. At least that will more than pay for them or anyone else we have lined up. Not naming names as I've taken no notice of any games this season when they've been on the tellybox, so I don't have the info to say who looks like they can do a job for a whole season and who just turned into a lazy L666s lard arse. We'd plenty of those at ours this season, they just turned that way a lot sooner. Meanwhile - it seems like our new Chairperson (to be) has a few more quid stashed under his mattress and in his pillow case than some first thought when they looked at the accounts of only one of his businesses. Deano has known this guy for years, so why would he sell the club to someone who he would already know if they didn't have two ha'pennies to rub together? Beggars belief really. Saw something earlier today about some lad from The Posh, Marcus Madddison - oh hang on, it was in the Unexamined. Posh and L666s players in the same post? What am I thinking? Lie down, darkened room and ....... breathe!!!! RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2019 - Lord Snooty - 16-05-2019 Only one of theirs who could possibly add owt to our squad is that Roofe lad. Oh and of course young Izzy. ![]() RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2019 - Lord Snooty - 17-05-2019 No surprises in the retained list. Five senior players were out of contract - Huddersfield Town's 2018/19 retained list confirmed - Lössl, Williams, Depoitre, Durm and Payne leave the Club - Paperwork on the Isaac Mbenza deal to be completed Huddersfield Town’s Retained List at the end of the 2018/19 season has been confirmed today. Five players who have previously featured for Town’s First Team in competitive action will leave the Club; Jonas Lössl, Erik Durm, Danny Williams, Jack Payne and Laurent Depoitre. The loan spells of Isaac Mbenza and Jason Puncheon will come to an end, although the Club will take the option to make Mbenza’s move a permanent one this summer. The paperwork on that deal is still to be completed. Town has taken its option of a year’s contract extension on Academy centre back Rarmani Edmonds-Green, while six of his teammates – Olly Dyson, Ben Jackson, Luke Mewitt, Micah Obiero, Dom Tear and Oran Thompson – have been offered new professional contracts. 10 further players have been released following the end of their contract or scholarships with the Academy. Regan Booty, who has played in pre-season friendlies for the Terriers, is among those players, alongside goalkeeper Gabriel Rosario; defenders Jake Barrett, Harry Spratt, Jordan Eli, Sam Gibson and Mason O’Malley; midfielder Dahomey Raymond and forwards George Danaher and Ben Mills. The Club would like to thank all the players who are leaving the Club and wishes them all the best for the future. Contract Extended; Club Option Taken Rarmani Edmonds-Green Contract offered Olly Dyson Ben Jackson Luke Mewitt Micah Obiero Dom Tear Oran Thompson Released Jonas Lössl Danny Williams Laurent Depoitre Erik Durm Jack Payne Regan Booty Gabriel Rosario Jake Barrett Harry Spratt Jordan Eli Sam Gibson Mason O’Malley Dahomey Raymond George Danaher Ben Mills Loan ended Isaac Mbenza Jason Puncheon RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2019 - theo_luddite - 17-05-2019 and Uncle Tom Cobbley and all .... plus a few more to go soon I reckon with contracts. Not enough Danish Bacon in that list but we need some brass for some of those lads still in contract and to attract a few to the Arrivals Hall. Jack Payne may be the only surprise in that list. If he'd scored 20 for Sadfud would we have had other thoughts and maybe not put him in the Departure Lounge? Sadfud were as bad as us, just 2 Divisions below us. RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2019 - Lord Snooty - 19-05-2019 Lossl going to Everton according to Sky. Well that'll be a nice cushy number for him. Sat on the bench all season. Chris Lowe has gone back to Germany and joined Dynamo Dresden. ![]() RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2019 - theo_luddite - 24-05-2019 Reads like his kids are now school age and Dresden is close to family. Wasn't one I'd want to leave but he goes on his terms and my best wishes and thanks for a job well done. Got us up, maybe struggled a tad 1st Prima Donna season but I think held his own last. He's not a winger, or a whinger, Jan playing him a tad further forward maybe helped with his decision. RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2019 - theo_luddite - 03-06-2019 The Unexamined says Olympiacos have Steve Mounié in their sights. All those wanting to drive him to Greece please form an orderly queue at Canalside. All those looking for pigs flying over the Unexamined offices ..... go have a beer. RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2019 - Lord Snooty - 04-06-2019 Today's rumours include.......Martin Crainie coming back and Zanka and Tommy Smith going to Celtic. ![]() |
