RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - WakeyTerrier - 14-01-2019 Whilst it was much better than some of the dross we've seen lately it was still not very good. The goalkeeper has hardly had a save to make and certainly wasn't tested at any point. Penalty shout. I can see why the ref gives it and then I can see why the he changes his mind on the advise of the liner. Hadergonads(AKA Tom Daley) does have a hand in his back first but then the defender has a arm across, when it gets into the box he (Tom Daley) seems to throw his legs forward in a attempt to gain a penalty. Its a close call, I console myself with the fact we'd have missed the penalty. Plenty of rumours around on twitter about DW handing his resignation in this morning. Its too late to affect our season, he should have gone in October for me RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - SHEP_HTAFC - 14-01-2019 Watched it on a live stream. Kind of wish the stream had gone down...but hey ho.!!! One noticeable thing about this performance was that there was a lot less passing back and sideways by our defenders. They definitely tried to get the ball forward quicker. Didn't always work, lost the ball a few times by trying that.....but it was a refreshing change. Forward play lacking in most areas. Pritchard is lively, full of ideas, but just doesn't have that bit of magic. He has possibly the weakest shooting of anyone I've ever seen. Mounie was excellent for the most part. Definitely got in the box quicker and with more urgency....unfortunately the crosses to him were woeful. Puncheon our best player. Liked the look of him a lot. Should have signed him in the summer. Rest of them no better than average, inc Billing who so far is my man of the season (not saying much I know). As for the penalties....theirs is not a pen. Hadj got a foot to the ball as was proved on Match of the Day. Ours was definitely a pen. He had his arm wrapped around Hadj. The lino never put his flag up so how could it have been a foul the other way? We were robbed.....but we would still have missed it anyway. And who is our penalty taker anyway when Mooy isn't playing? Mounie? Kachunga? Billing? It's stopped the run of defeats...however with Man City and Chelsea in the next 3 games, that might just start up again. RE: Cardiff City v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 14-01-2019 Oggy said Billing had taken the ball to take the penalty. The shit about Wagner resigning came from a Twitter account designed to look like the official Twitter account. What kind of cockwomble does something like that? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
