Mounie gets sent off for a tackle on their no 8, perhaps justly, however said no 8 was running around in no time having had the appearance of being crippled.

I'm not sure the club could guarantee this ref's safety if they ever send him back again.  Tongue Whistle Wink

Can't beat a bit of panto booing. Laugh

Equaliser just before HT.

RE: Town v Brighton - St Charles Owl - 01-12-2018

Mounie's tackle was a bit of a leg breaker, high up on the shin of their player. These days that's a red card all day long.

RE: Town v Brighton - Amelia Chaffinch - 01-12-2018

I said perhaps justly. It doesn't mean that the other guy didn't overact or that this referee now has serious form against Town.

1-2.

RE: Town v Brighton - St Charles Owl - 01-12-2018

Yes you did. Didn't see how quickly he got up but refs are instructed to show reds for dangerous tackles whether the guy is injured or not. He didn't really need to "sell" that challenge if that's what he did.

Yet their's has done a similar challenge on Durm and he got a yellow. Even the Beeb who aren't known for favouring us, said he was lucky to stay on the pitch.

Haven't seen that one yet, lets see if they show it over here.

Thumb up Who knows, SCO, they show very little sometimes. As you know, TV can edit it into looking like an entirely different match!
