Surely it's better to err on the side of caution and assume it's not been played ..... if it's played on Leeds in lieu of consent and Leeds lose he gets minus three as opposed to zero ...... just trying to avoid issues down the line ....

Actually I think 4eva is right. Its up to the individual to make sure he makes his intentions clear, in this case the BB and Gamball have not been played and I think we have to assume that is what he wants unless told otherwise. So if we agree I will score as if the BB has not been played on any game.

Looking at the long game ..... if his bb was played in absence and lost, -3 points, .... come the end of the season he is runner up by two points ..... could he have grounds for appeal as he never actually selected to play it ...... if someone forgets to play a ball highlight the fact then THEY can amend it or not .... never assume as it makes an ASS out of U and ME.
