I knew as soon as I saw the team sheet it was going to be a long day. Not starting your most creative player against the team tipped to finish bottom is madness. 3 holding midfielders (2 seeing as Billing is never more than a passenger) - I really didn't understand it.

Before the sending off we were the better team, but it's not like we created lots of chances. After the sending off (massive uncharacteristic, indefensible mistake from Hogg) we had a 10 minute spell where we completely went to pieces and were very lucky not to lose the game.

I disagree with whoever commented about us looking unfit - we don't, we just look like a team full of strangers. No real organisation, and certainly no desire to drive forward (that gap between midfield and attack was huge but we never exploited it). The new wingers looked shockingly bad - Flo was screaming at Mbenza when he came on because he just wouldn't move for him - didn't drop deep to let him overlap, didn't push on to look for a pass, just stood there. Diakhaby looks quick but also doesn't look like a footballer.

HOWEVER... Take the Chelsea and City games to the side, you can't judge us one game into the season. We've been through worse spells and the folk starting to doubt Wagner are embarrassing themselves.
