I thought he played really well last week. RE: EVERTON v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - theo_luddite - 01-09-2018 So did I tbh. Others were far more woeful. RE: EVERTON v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - ToonTerrier - 01-09-2018 Get in! Knew he should’ve started, he was class last week... :/ RE: EVERTON v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - theo_luddite - 01-09-2018 Ha'way the Toon RE: EVERTON v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - ToonTerrier - 01-09-2018 Much better than last week. A well deserved point and could’ve been all three. They only had one attempt on target. RE: EVERTON v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - Lord Snooty - 01-09-2018 Well that'll do. RE: EVERTON v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - theo_luddite - 01-09-2018 6 on target? Got some supping to do when I get back. ![]() RE: EVERTON v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - Lord Snooty - 02-09-2018 So in reality we are one point behind expected. We didn't expect any points from Chelsea, Man City or Everton, but expected 3 from Cardiff. So in the words of Meat Loaf, two out of a bat out of three dead ringers ain't bad. ![]() RE: EVERTON v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - sloppyattheback - 02-09-2018 In our current vein of form 1-1 was as much as we could have reasonably expected, a really strong whole team performance, the back line did well, Billing excellent especially with his 3rd minute booking around his neck, Mooy saw a lot more of the ball breaking up play , eeven VLP worked tirelessly along with Mounie who put himself about and went for every challenge . Kachunga as a late sub made himself awkward knew what was needed in the game plan with little offensive nature to his game but with H booked it was a good decision, having seen Durm play well at Stoke midweek the 2 weeks off now should enable him to bring his fitness up to what is expoected and should be a firm starter from the Palace game onwards. Everton fans were incredibly quiet throughout, renown for the volume and banter, obviously expected just to turn up and roll us over like last season. Sat amongst them on the Birmingham stopping train to Stafford last night it was very funny to hear them moan about us an everything else apart from their own performance and shortcomings. The fans loudly appluaded the team's efforts at FT and Waggers kept us waiting to salute a really loud support that I'm sure helped. We just need to be that tad more braver up the field, try get off a shot off or really push to get into the box take on the defenders and look for a penalty or force an error, but hopefully that will return to our game as confidence rebuilds. RE: EVERTON v HUDDERSFIELD TOWN - Lord Snooty - 02-09-2018 Can I just say, I don't like that How shit must you be, we're winning away song. Our fans were still singing it when they equalised. Tempting fate! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
