And though there's no chance now, it will at least stem the tide of alcoholism after each defeat, so that's a good thing. Two hours later, nothing has changed. ![]() RE: Pardew has left the building !!! - WBA-Josh - 02-04-2018 Matt Smith’s article about Alan Pardew’s very bad time at the club: https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2018/04/02/comment---alan-pardew-destined-to-go-down-as-one-of-west-broms-worst-ever-managers/#vPKbVkZ4QCbBYsLw.99 From Alan Pardew’s trying to be the opposite of Tony Pulis rather than working to the players strengths to his treatment of Sam Field and Oliver Burke, the above makes for difficult reading and I’m surprised it’s taken this long to sack him. Don't think that is true, If you go onto Oxfords forum some of the post's on Appleton may surprise you, EG; two best years of football at Oxford for years .... Always give the youngsters a chance etc etc, Not my first choice however I would like to point out, Like to see Shakey back in some form though ![]() RE: Pardew has left the building !!! - silverbaggie - 03-04-2018 Unsurprisingly the knives are out for Pardew. Even Ian Wright (that well respected ex WBA fan) has an opinion!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43623444 I certainly agree that Pardew should never manage in the Premier league again but Champioship? I recently read an article listing the supposed worst ever 20 Premiership teams. We featured twice and they projected a 24 point haul for us by season's end. Fortunately Derby County correctly claim No1 spot with just 11 points. RE: Pardew has left the building !!! - 4evaabaggie - 03-04-2018 I can't see us getting g 24 points, I think if we get 21 we will do well ...... RE: Pardew has left the building !!! - Baggiebob(BBB) - 03-04-2018 I say it'll be 25pts. And 7th next year in the Champs. ![]() RE: Pardew has left the building !!! - Beefy 1965 - 13-06-2018 Siân Bailey @SianBaileyFEN Follow Follow @SianBaileyFEN More BREAKING- Alan Pardew has announced his retirement from football management after 20 years.
