RE: Scottish Cup 4th round: Hearts v Hibs, Sun 21 Jan, KO 2.05pm - hibeejim21 - 21-01-2018 His 'natural order' comment was laughable really. His natural order is failure, he has won xxxx all as a player or a manager. RE: Scottish Cup 4th round: Hearts v Hibs, Sun 21 Jan, KO 2.05pm - 0762 - 21-01-2018 ..and that will continue, guaranteed! Potter is a manager 'from another time period' with an anti footie philosophy! Imagine if most Scot footie coaches followed that style of negative coaching - it would drive footie fans away in their droves from a so called 'entertainment industry'. I recently listened to that 'Hibs hater', Peter Houston, on bbc radio 'singing the praises' of his pal, Potter - cringeworthy stuff coming from another very negative, irritating individual with a history of this kinda shit who should not be given an audience at all for the 'good of the game'!! Lenny rightly slamming into Potter today for that remark and showing disrespect but this is the real 'slimeball' finally 'flying his true colours' btw. He has a platform where he has actually won a game against us with one of the flukiest goals you could ever witness!! What Potter is trying to do is set up a culture of 'superior belief' that Hertz can win games against Hibs again. In other words, 'break the mould' and progress from a low point to a high point but using anti footie tactics in order to achieve it. I've observed this ploy/culture decades ago where the defence is made reasonably secure with a leader and progress from that secure point. In Hertz current situation, that player is Berra. In Hibs case we'll discover how good a manager Lenny actually is although I must say I was critical of him removing Bartley from the fray in yesterday's match and still believe we would not have lost this game had big Marv been left on the pitch to protect and back up our defence! No doubt Lenny wanted to win that cup tie in the last quarter but IMO Bartley's removal was a mistake and focus should have been on not losing on that awful pitch and taking a replay at ER Stadium! Now we'll see how many derby matches we actually win from this point esp, as I previously mentioned, moving on a player/striker like Jason who 'scored for fun' v Hertz and would've continued to do so if he was still in our ranks. Do we currently have a player of that prolific ability who can consistently 'do the damage to Hertz'? The 'jury is out' although it must be said that Ollie Shaw should already have one goal 'marked up' against Hertz but again Lady Luck and ref officials not helping matters one jot!! RE: Scottish Cup 4th round: Hearts v Hibs, Sun 21 Jan, KO 2.05pm - hibeejim21 - 22-01-2018 I think that bartley coming off seen us play a bit better to be honest,we had a good wee spell following it. At the end of the day the manager opted to go for it after having set us up pretty narrow through the first hour or so. Its a thin margin at the end of the day. I tend to think something has gone badly wrong in portugal and it has affected the team somehow, they definitely didnae look up for it,the mentality looked all wrong. Tough spell coming up now, midweeks with motherwell and dundee and away games to the uglies. RE: Scottish Cup 4th round: Hearts v Hibs, Sun 21 Jan, KO 2.05pm - 0762 - 22-01-2018 I agree I thought it gave us a better foothold and 'hi press' in this game. However, I thought the decent defensive security in front of our back four was compromised and my concern was proved right. As you say, 'fine margins' but IMO holding that unbeaten mentality was as important as taking them back to ER and beating them on a better playing surface than that shit one at the PBS! RE: Scottish Cup 4th round: Hearts v Hibs, Sun 21 Jan, KO 2.05pm - hibeejim21 - 23-01-2018 We fucked up at a corner in the end and thats cost us, boyles effort just prior goes in and we are in the next round. There has been a lot of overreaction to the result from some quarters of the support, I know its disappointing but its time to move on and concentrate on finishing as high as we can up the table and hopefully improving the side over the next week or so. Who gives a xxxx what potter the dens park bottler thinks about us anyway ? He's always been a cock. RE: Scottish Cup 4th round: Hearts v Hibs, Sun 21 Jan, KO 2.05pm - 0762 - 23-01-2018 I agree Jim. Potter is a weirdo and has been for years and he will 'lose his dressing room' AGAIN because of what he is and as confirmed by Mikey Stewart and quite a few Scotland players who have witnessed the worst side of this guy. His recent snide comment is just another one to add to a huge list of nippy anti-Hibs comments that are attached to him down the years. My theory re this weirdo's consistent crass behaviour is that it spans back to 1986 in the biggest Hertz f### up of all time at Dens Park when 'Levein the mouth/bully' was 'waxing lyrical' about his impending huge achievement of winning the league title and his whole world crashed around him from that day onwards and many Hibs fans were quick to absolutely 'rub his nose in it' as they did with many of the bullish Hertz fans who were 'counting their chickens before eating them'! IMO that is why he has an anti Hibs issue but he will never openly admit it. Ultimately Hearts' failure had nothing to do with Hibs FC or their fans and the blame 'lay solely at the door' of the footie club itself and the failure of a cocky group of Hearts' players and a manager who didnae see the defeat coming at Dens Park as well as the Hoops' massive legendary win at Love Street to lift the title from Hearts' grasp on a superior GD!! I regard the ex Falkirk manager, Peter Houston, 'in a similar light' to Potter with the same kinda nippy remarks and clearly having a 'Hibs problem' down the years - both of them weirdos who refuse to 'move on'! |
