One day I will share a pint with many of you in the Vine Thanks Stairs, and yes, we'll all meet up in The Vine one fine day, and let's hope we can get this chat site like the old BBC 606 used to be. ![]() RE: WBA vs Palace - Match Thread - Dingle-Dingle - 25-10-2014 Greetings A 22 DD ![]() ![]() RE: WBA vs Palace - Match Thread - aries22 - 25-10-2014 I wish I shared some of you lot's confidence! I've been a Baggie too long to harbour too much hope from this sort of game. If I had a settee I'd be hiding behind it come 3 o'clock. But then again, why shouldn't we beat Palace? We're good enough. And thanks Dingle-Dingle. P.S. Love the fact that, at 60, I'm a Junior Member again! I remember the late Sixties when it was 2 shillings (10p in today's money) to get into the Brummie Road End to watch the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool. RE: WBA vs Palace - Match Thread - tidy - 25-10-2014 Hopefully we continue the tempo from Monday night. Palace will have noticed how well we are playing atm and will be very difficult to break down. I expect a battle of attrition that could go either way. RE: WBA vs Palace - Match Thread - Squirrel Regis - 25-10-2014 Patience is definitely the key today. Colin will set his team out to defend and hit us on the break but an early goal doesn't half make life a lot easier. 2-1 baggies and unlike the horror show that was last season I'm actually getting a bit excited about match days at the shrine :-) RE: WBA vs Palace - Match Thread - Salopbaggie - 25-10-2014 (25-10-2014, 07:50)aries22 Wrote: I wish I shared some of you lot's confidence!
