RE: WBA vs Crystal Palace - Match Thread - valpayne - 03-12-2017 Interesting thought of the day allardyce who many of us have prayed not to come to Albion gets a debut win while we have to settle for yet another draw For the debut Pardew era . That’s the Albion hoodoo for you. The stats were better the possession better the shots on and off target plentiful but the results are still the same a goalless draw to a bottom of the table team. Liverpool Swansea Man Utd to come next god help us ![]() RE: WBA vs Crystal Palace - Match Thread - BaggieMan - 03-12-2017 Liverpool, Swansea & Man Utd..... well, thats 9 points in the bag then..... ![]() RE: WBA vs Crystal Palace - Match Thread - aries22 - 03-12-2017 Nice to see some positivity for a change and, as Beefy said, 51% possession. # nosebleed RE: WBA vs Crystal Palace - Match Thread - Beefy 1965 - 03-12-2017 (03-12-2017, 03:03)valpayne Wrote: Interesting thought of the day allardyce who many of us have prayed not to come to Albion gets a debut win while we have to settle for yet another draw For the debut Pardew era . Liverpool Swansea Man Utd to come next god help us The same Bottom of the table team that beat Chelsea two weeks ago and now have taken ten points from their last eight games, Not the same team as early doors by far, I would take their front three in a heartbeat ![]() RE: WBA vs Crystal Palace - Match Thread - Worldclassalbion - 03-12-2017 I can only take positives from the game yesterday. Everything was better in my opinion. The way we played , the atmosphere. Players overlapping , shots, effort but sadly no goals. Pards has only had 3 days so i’m a lot happier than at any time Pulis was here. Give him a chance and a transfer window. I agree with you Aries 22, however you would expect 51% against the bottom team. Lets see what it'll be against Liverpuke. ![]() RE: WBA vs Crystal Palace - Match Thread - BaggieMan - 03-12-2017 Nice to see 'Uncle Woy' get a good reception and a cheer yesterday. i've always liked Woy - no histrionics, no ego or bragging. I was sorry to see him leave The Hawthorns as I believe he did a sound job for us. May he be successful at Palace as long as iy is not at our expense. Baggieman, I would agree apart from a few points, I would want Roy to do well if he wasn't at palace, hate Simon Jordan, arrogant arse and palace promising to do it for wolves and beat us although they failed. I hold a grudge a long time ....... Don't know why he should hate us so much but I guess its a mutual feeling. Surprised Roy went to work for him. Liverpool Swansea Man Utd to come next god help us dear beefy my comments were actually more about our luck than about the palace revival. what i meant was if it was anyone else but wba etc etc pardew v club that sacked him, uncle woy returns, everton v sothampton were a complete shambles, all that sort off hoodoo that always haunts us yet we never seem to benefit from these little caveats that every other team seems to. On the plus side I saw the highlights finally today possession 51/49 shots 20 on target 6 and there were some nice passages of play to. Rondon is now being played to his strengths attacking formation wingers having a go crosses coming in. I was in favour of pulls but this change was right I truly believe that and pardew has that mentality to push up and go at teams which I think almost all albion fans have desperately needed to see. Now we need some luck and hope that this will prove to be the way out of trouble I was heartened by the display we just need to start scoring goals urgently quickly and soon |
