I'd take any team at any time. Previous games mean nothing now. It's time to start again.

I know we shouldn't get obsessed with the Bell Enders, but this is the first time since 1962 that we have finished above them. And ironically they could still get promoted ahead of us. Rolleyes Whistle

Great win, had a bit of a end of season feel to a vastly changed Dog Head team. We looked good first half, plenty of endeavour to get forward, no real chances then Izzy fires home from 20 yards out of nowhere, he really does give us that extra bit with his ability to carry turn and shoot.

Defensively very good all evening bar 10 mins when Quaner was put out wide right and forgot he had to defend their danger man Graham sent out to expose that flank. Bunny was shippped on quickly and he helped shore that blind spot up.

All round solid performance, I think Quaner missed 2 chances late on to seal things but we did enough and delighted to have secured our play off spot and not take it to the wire in true Town fashion.

Same turnstyle operators as Town, never 17000 there, perhaps 12-13.000 and only several ( 700?) hundred town made the trip a little suprising over 2 1/2 blocks of the lower tier so volume not great, but the home support never had cause to raise the noise either.

Expect a complete change of starting 11 Saturday and Sunday now to rest and recover our key players.

Sloppy- 682 Town fans in attendance last night. A big well done to every single one of you who took the time, the effort and paid good money out to back the boys. Now start saving up for the play offs

Congratulations so far. Exciting although the play-offs are - I am glad not to be part of this anymore. Can't take the stress.
