Think we need a couple of strikers with the fighting spirit. Preston might have a couple we could borrow!  Big Grin

Kin ell jjamez your a spritely youth for someone born 90 odd years back

There's a lad at Bury scoring odd'uns too but he's about to go into hibernation. One if those lads at Preston got sent off today for twatting his team mate

Holy smokes jjamez, that is some major body work. All you're missing is a rub down with 600 grit wet and dry and a respray. Hope you now pass the MOT matey.

Everybody's having a go at Wells because we had 30 shots, only 8 on target and scored one goal. But how many of these did Wells get on the end of?
Is it a case of him not getting in the right places or team mates just not passing to him?
I think he's good enough, just needs a lucky break now and then. Once he gets his scoring boots on we'll be fine.
However, I agree with the over reacting Twitterati that we do need another striker. Two strikers aren't enough for any squad, never mind one trying to get promotion from the Championship.

On the bright side, the Town Vampires that fall apart when someone puts a cross in the box haven't put in an appearance for most of the last two games. That penalty was as soft as they come given the two shouts we had against Wiggin (and comparing the two Forest got and missed on Friday). If we had 30 shots and Wells wasn't on the end of many of them, unless he sets up the shot why is he there? Said for a while I'd keep him as a number two striker that can score in the teens per season (he really needs to get a shift on this season to get close to that) but he isn't a number 1 striker that will get you 20++ a season. £8 million? Someone is having a laugh there.

Just seen the penalty. Pathetic. I can see why it was given but for feck sake. How easily are refs conned these days. Not just in our league either. Dele Alli? Come on, ref!

We're definitely in the hunt for a winger and striker come Jan. It's pure logic. We now only have two fit wingers + Kachunga and only VLP has really performed anywhere near a consistent level. I've defended scanz for so long and I still think he offers more than Bunn but if he doesn't pull his finger out, this season may be his last for Town as it could be for Harry or Lolley.
