RE: WBA vs Burnley - Match Thread - Beefy 1965 - 22-11-2016 Sky love in .............. Carragher Rondon was a absolute beast tonight ........... Coleman ........ West brom were very good The score did not flatter them and they played some really good stuff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RE: WBA vs Burnley - Match Thread - BaggieMan - 22-11-2016 Brilliant result. Lets just hope it continues at 'ull. Three on the bounce would be special. What a difference with Mozza and Brunty back and DeDo playing so well. ![]() RE: WBA vs Burnley - Match Thread - tidy - 22-11-2016 Not impressed at all.....not a single 'Pulis out' comment. What's happening on here?..... ![]() RE: WBA vs Burnley - Match Thread - BBB - 22-11-2016 As I've often said, we play well at the end of most games, attacking football with players that can score goals, so why not try that for all of a game. Well we tried that at Leicester and tonight and it worked - so well done the team, and I'll be surprised that Pulis isn't as surprised as I am with that score. May it continue at Hull ![]() ![]() BBB RE: WBA vs Burnley - Match Thread - betterthanbaird - 22-11-2016 James Morrison, absolute club legend (by modern standards), outstanding performance today, pure class. Rondon and Phillips were brilliant too, good to see Phillips hitting form, he could be key for us. I am just looking through at the loving Rondon posts ![]() ![]() ![]() Good game tonight ![]() ![]() Brunt while still having a good game, did look a bit out of place on the right and a half decent full back would keep pushing him onto his right foot, pretty much taking him out of the game. We are starting to look a bit left heavy, but I bet the backroom staff are looking at the right midfield. Looking to Saturday, if he is fit, who is going to drop out to make way for Chadli?? My money would be on Brunt due to the amount of left sided attackers we have. RE: WBA vs Burnley - Match Thread - Dingle-Dingle - 22-11-2016 This was only the third time in 284 games that a side managed by Pulis have scored four goals in a Premier League game, two of which have been this season with West Brom (4-0 v Burnley and 4-2 v West Ham). Baggieman, you must have an exceptional imagination. If I remember rightly, I had to go shopping with my mum that day. I was four years old. ![]() (21-11-2016, 23:47)drewks Wrote: Apparently this is the 3rd time that a Tony Pulis team has scored 4 goals, in 280-odd games Your homework for tonight - what were the other two games? ![]() RE: WBA vs Burnley - Match Thread - BaggieSteve - 22-11-2016 I thought it was a terrific performance and would echo the comments already made, particulate about Rondon and Morrison, whom I thought were excellent. It's good to see Brunty back and, while he's not - and has never been - quick, I think we've missed his excellent passing, not just from set pieces. My only slight concern was Nyom who, whilst accepting he's playing out of position, looks pretty slow and, with no left foot to speak of, has to always bring the ball back onto his right and so slow down any attack. I haven't seen enough of Galloway to really comment but would honestly prefer to see a naturally left footed player in that position. I assume Pulis will make do until the January transfer window. Hasn't Galloway gone back? Thought Nyom had a good game. He looks like a young Mulumbu. |
