Surprised at the negativity still on here.......
Teah for a bit more quality we could have won,
But the football was a lot better 45% poss 17 shots they had just 7 with 2 on target !!!
Chadli makes a huge difference and to think what a difference a couple of more players would have made in the window.
The only downside was Gardner coming on when Leko or Morrison would have been a lot better and we wouldn't have invited so much pressure.
Stoke have to much quality to stay down the bottom and to think a couple of seasons ago we use to lose at the Britannia every bleeding season.
But things aren't that bad a good home win followed by two away draws............
Chin up lads Laugh
We should have won today yes but a lot better i think you will agree Thumb up

Yeah, I think we were unlucky to be honest, although Pulis deserves criticism for bringing Gardner on; that was a mistake. Our lack of quality in the final third at times is frustrating, but yet again Chadli is head and shoulders above everyone else we have. Really, really hope we can build a quality midfield around him going forward.

Chadli is great and his arrival shows exactly how lacking others are. It should help us acquire budget for a January spending spree

Must admit I feared the worst at half time, Chadli took a knock and when the camera panned on to him, he looked like he knew something had gone so surprised and delighted to see him back out for the second half. A couple more like him would do very nicely he does look a class player and at 13.5M could turn out to be a snip.

The goal was a bit of a sickener as although Sunderland had plenty of the ball I thought we were in complete control and comfortable, and a took a mishit to beat Foster, although the build up to it did begin with Gardner trying to pick up Philips crossfield only for their scorer to intercept and start the move for the goal.

3 unbeaten and 5 points, and with the next 3 or 4 games that might not be a bad haul
