OMG what a thriller. He has retained his Olympic title. Fantastic! 4 sets. Loads of breaks. Who cares? He did it.

Yasssss! Andy Murray has a 2nd tennis Olympic gold medal in an epic 4hr marathon match! What a hero, what a legend and Del Potro was also outstanding!!
I've got a wad of money coming in on Andy winning this from the off - deeeeelighted but no good for the old ticker!!

Andy just never gives in. He can be playing poorly at times but just keeps on digging out great victories. #persevere
What a war of attrition that was and full marks to Del Potro too. They both gave their all.

Got to fancy him for the US Open now. Federer not going. Who knows what state Djokovic will be in. He's pulled out of Cincinnati this week. And like you say, he can now turn poor performances into gritty victories, whereas in the past he would've wimped out when not playing well.
