Likely the usual resigned shrug, "yeah, disappointing but.......". To say pre-season's been disappointing would be an understatement; even the win over Vitesse Arnhem was put in perspective by the fact they lost to Newcastle at the weekend. I know we should keep all these results in perspective but we are just continuing a crap run from the end of last season. I need to be more positive, I'll keep telling myself that! RE: Pre-Season Friendlies - 4evaabaggie - 01-08-2016 Another pre season that fails to fill me full of enthusiasm, I remember the days of new and invigorated hope prior to the start of the season ..... Still nothing up front, no real signings yet, was hoping my impending early retirement would lead to season after season of being a season ticket holder but I want to be entertained and be challenging for honours ..... Would never disown the Baggies, they run to my core, but sometimes they make it hard. We are number one in the west Midlands .... let's start proving it. RE: Pre-Season Friendlies - BaggieMan - 02-08-2016 4eva.... we won't start proving anything other than we are rotten to the core when it comes to management, coaching, player quality, player acquisition, player motivation - the list goes on. We have become a joke and a bookies favourite for relegation which is hardly surprising given our performances. We desperately need a totally new invigorated structure from the top down and the sooner that happens the better it will be. Whether it will be too late save us from the bottom three remains to be seen but with under two weeks to kick-off, we have been left behind. An unattractive club with too many second rate players and a dismal unattractive head coach - what player of any quality would even consider signing for us. So sad. |
