RE: Sunderland vs WBA - Match Thread - talkSAFT - 02-04-2016 Torture. But Fozzie England's no.1. 40 pts, but they should pay the fans who went up there for that. RE: Sunderland vs WBA - Match Thread - Zinman - 02-04-2016 No shots on target against Villa, Norwich, Newcastle and now Sunderland. And people wonder why I won't be going next year if Pulis remains in charge. RE: Sunderland vs WBA - Match Thread - Salopbaggie - 02-04-2016 Apart from the first 15 minutes where we played some good exciting stuff, we were poor again today. Yet again no shots on target against a bottom 6 team, in fact I do not remember any shots at all, let alone any on target. This is just not good enough for a Premiership club, maybe once or twice a season is forgivable, but to have no shots on target, so regularly, especially against clubs at the bottom is inexcusable. RE: Sunderland vs WBA - Match Thread - Stairs - 02-04-2016 Oh well job done. 40 Points. There has been seasons where I'd take any performance just to get to that tally. So in a way it shows our expectations are greater and more justified nowadays. Maybe now the maths are done we will dabble for rest of season. But, each place had money attached to it.........,, RE: Sunderland vs WBA - Match Thread - Beefy 1965 - 02-04-2016 Anybody think we will be last on M O D ? ![]() RE: Sunderland vs WBA - Match Thread - Stathemwasthebestever - 02-04-2016 Pritchard. Why will any club loan us a player (to get time on the pitch) in the future? We are not exactly overrun with creativity so I struggle to see why he does not get some game time. RE: Sunderland vs WBA - Match Thread - talkSAFT - 02-04-2016 Exactly, Derek. Why even bring him here in the 1st place, paying his salary? RE: Sunderland vs WBA - Match Thread - Mosestheballwinner - 02-04-2016 I thought TP was Welsh. Couldn't give a shit about the Sess being late. He'll regret it eventually . RE: Sunderland vs WBA - Match Thread - talkSAFT - 03-04-2016 The lack of postings on this thread is worrying. All season we've posted incessantly about how angry we are about the performances and lack of ambition on the pitch. But the silence (after another no-shots performance) is deafening, because we've become conditioned to it. To make matters worse, Pulis said he's "doing somersaults" after getting to 40 pts! Just imagine over the last 100+ years our Billy Bassetts, Wilson-Keys, Jesse Penningtons, Vic Buckinghams, etc etc saying "Right. I'll be happy with a draw today. If we don't concede any goals we'll live another Year in the Top Division. Job done." It's embarrassing that we'll be putting up with this while S/T Holders will not be renewing next season. There is an alternative, Tony: you started attacking a couple of months, and the results were even better. RE: Sunderland vs WBA - Match Thread - RainbowTurnedEastStand - 03-04-2016 Pulis really is a cock womble as do we really need to be playing 3 holding midfielders against a team like Sunderland? If Sessegnon is in the naughty book then give Pritchard or McManaman a game, at one stage yesterday Berahino was playing left back which is a complete joke. |
