RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - Tibby Baggie - 12-02-2016 For me I don't see us losing this by as many goals as some are predicting, as you can bet we'll park every single bus available to us to stop that happening. Hoping for a point but can't see us keeping a clean sheet, so I'm going to predict a 1-1. More in hope than expectation really. COYB! RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - WBA Will - 13-02-2016 I can't say I expect a result. I wouldn't be massively surprised though, there's a reason he stayed at Stoke for long and hasn't been relegated: he has a habit of picking up the odd decent result despite the tedious mediocrity of the majority of his side's games. I definitely don't expect a good performance though. Everton are in such good form that we will sit back and sit back. Not sure it will help us though as if they can't pass around and through us, Lukaku is one of the few strikers in the league who can compete in the air with our defence so they won't be too reluctant to put in crosses. RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - betterthanbaird - 13-02-2016 Our starting 11 actually looks quite balanced, I'm sure we'll still sit back but at least we might actually be able to counter attack RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - drewks - 13-02-2016 (13-02-2016, 16:04)betterthanbaird Wrote: Our starting 11 actually looks quite balanced, I'm sure we'll still sit back but at least we might actually be able to counter attack West Bromwich Albion: Foster; Olsson, Chester, Yacob, Evans, McClean, Berahino, Fletcher, Dawson, Sessegnon, Rondon Subs: Myhill; Gardner; Anichebe, Brunt, Pocognoli, Pritchard, Sandro I agree - good to see Sess start an AWAY game - shows a bit of intent for a change! Actually quite hopeful we can give a good account of ourselves today ![]() RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - Baggievicar - 13-02-2016 Sunderland win. Bolox (a Greek theological term meaning "Oh dear"). Something from this game would be very handy now. Request for miracle noted, Squirrel - unfortunately they're not up to me. Let's hope, eh? RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - talkSAFT - 13-02-2016 How come Sandro and Pritchard aren't starting? The others played 120 mins midweek. Did we get these 2 on loan to warm the bench? RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - BaggieMan - 13-02-2016 0-1 C'mon you Baggies ! RE: Everton vs WBA - Match Thread - talkSAFT - 13-02-2016 Fantastic back 4. We are down to bare bones, and with Gmac going off, 6 - 7 players out, just played 120 minutes plus pens two days ago, Everton fully rested, we have done a heavy amount of travelling since christmas with most games being away ........... Hopefully my lotto numbers will be as lucky tonight ......... great result .... revenge for the robbery at The Hawthorns.
