Especially if we can get a couple of decent signings in January. You're absolutely right, stranger things have happened. I just can't see it myself. We are terribly inconsistent. In fact, the only consistent thing about us is that we're two very different teams in each half of any given game. It would take 3-4 signings like you said, I'd like a CB and a RB. Definitely a winger. CF would be nice but we'd have to send Nuhiu out on loan or something. Do Bus & Lachman need their contracts terminating? they're taking up room in the squad and we could do with a player for each of their positions. Is there anyone in our academy/development squads deserving of some first team action? RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Wolves - St Charles Owl - 18-12-2015 I think that 6th spot will be up for grabs for most of the season, maybe even the 5th spot if Burnley don't improve. Everybody around us has been inconsistent so far and I don't see that changing as we will all take points off each other. As regards consistency, one are where we achieve this is losses, we only have 2 in 15 league games, so at least we are picking up points most games, our goal has to be turning some of the draws into wins even if it means we lose the odd game. We are difficult to beat generally and we have a never say die attitude but CC needs to pick the best 11 and stick to it bar injuries and suspensions. RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Wolves - Imre varadi - 18-12-2015 Turners out and so is lopesz so do we bring in semi for lopez and hutch for turner ? RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Wolves - Towinjustonce - 18-12-2015 H, D, A, D, D 1-1 Joao..... Out of interest do you have to put a Wednesday scorer down ? The fooker Afobe will score against out 2 barges at CB. 20252 RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Wolves - St Charles Owl - 18-12-2015 (18-12-2015, 15:09)Imre varadi Wrote: Birmingham vs cardiff today !! if cardiff win they go 6pts clear of us Well you got your wish with Brum winning 1-0 against Cardiff. Give us the chance with a win to get back to one point off the playoff places, especially with Ipswich playing Derby. Now its up to us!! Our home form is very good. It's away that we've been so poor. I just hope he picks the right team. Hooper HAS to play from the start. If Nuhiu starts again I might just go home!
