RE: Biscuitmen v Terriers - WakeyTerrier - 04-11-2015 As I said before, 3 points needed from tonight and Leeds so anything less than a win and he can pack his bags for me. Reading aren't the be all and end all and we should be able to beat them RE: Biscuitmen v Terriers - Lord Snooty - 04-11-2015 Good point away from home. ![]() RE: Biscuitmen v Terriers - sloppyattheback - 04-11-2015 Just back, delighted with the point, first half we were very good, took the goals and chances superbly, our formation & change of personnel perhaps caught Reading out for 1/2 hour. Steer will be disappointed Nolly Orwood scored direct at his right post, for a second it looked like side netting from our lofty position but sadly not. "He's just too good for you" spued out from the Reading fans. 2nd half we just tried to hold what we had, got forward on occasions but created nothing really to hurt them, time wasted so it was just a matter of time with all their possession to equalise then could we hold on for 95 mins. Only 266 travellers (almost half last Augusts midweek away following) but the support and encouragement levels for CP and the team was there throughout, vocal and giving some back to the chavs to the our right. Bet suspended for Saturday, Pato injured but Dempsey had a really good 1st, but faded the 2nd, Billing used his size and long legs to cover plenty of side to side ground, got in some good challenges could be a real player with games under his belt, Huddy and Lynch were strong. Wells had run himself into the ground so useful to give JV a run around for 10 mins, Lolley did more defending that attack but all useful game time. RE: Biscuitmen v Terriers - MNTerrier - 04-11-2015 looks like i was bang on with the team selection and they performed very well, better performance certainly in the first half. Lynch will be suspended for saturday so id look for Smith or Wallace to be in the side. Whitehead will be back but honestly not sure who to drop Billing and Dempsey both performed well. Hoping Paterson is fit for the weekend he been very good since coming into the team. if these players keep playing well i dont see any place in the team for Scannell, Carayol or Miller RE: Biscuitmen v Terriers - theo_luddite - 04-11-2015 Things could be worse, though CP might not agree now he's woke up to find it wasn't such a very good point after all. http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2015/11/04/bristol-city-v-wolves-five-talking-points-2/ You could have been a Wolves fan at Brizzle last night. |
