Correct Fred, just a pity the home support didnae turn out in greater numbers to witness the victory- granted £28 is over the top but if you can afford it, as 0762 has previously stated he could, then you should be there supporting the team and not watching Sky. Great result.

I think teams are sussing them out a bit more now and its very much game on.

IMO Malonga does not contribute enough up front hibeejim and also made the wrong decisions in some great positions in the Rangers pen box! He certainly didn't deserve the praise lavished on him by Hibs fans when he was subbed but of course we were in the driving seat at that stage of the match! We eventually won this game  without Dylan McGeouch or Henderson and that's an achievement in it's own right. Also it's clear THERE'S ONLY ONE JOHN MCGINN!!! What a dynamic match he played this afternoon and IMO he should've been given the MOTM award instead of Jason Cummings. Rangers had nobody close to McGinn's performance and he's turning out to be a great signing by Alan Stubbs! The lad put in some shift up and down the pitch compared with the likes of Henderson who didn't do himself any favours in not covering back to pick up Wallace in that fortuitous Gers' goal!

Mcginn was tremendous today, way better than the super dooper epl loan starlets that would be such a loss to our game. In fact when the city trader brought them on they offered very little. Methinks he is not the tactical genius their media pals make out. He seems to think their 'was only one team in it' but the stats don't really back that up either.

Oh and the scumbag rangers fans who threw missiles at our fans outside the west stand...I hope to xxxx plod comes calling.xxxx.

That incident was just the start of a number of nasty confrontations up town with quite a few of these bad-losing Rangers clowns!! It certainly kept Embro's finest on their toes but the bottom line is we whipped their erses today and, by gum, they and their media hangers-on didn't like it one bit - priceless!

Oh yes we are, fred! And we'll do it again. Rangers defence was there for the taking and two great goals won us the game. Warburton seems to think Rangers didn't get the rub of the green today, but if they didn't they wouldn't have scored. A great 3 points for us and a wee reminder that we're not easily shrugged off.

Oh I know ye are Ritchie it's others mind set in this country even if they make out different in the run up to games.

What Rangers defence? Posted missing for Hibs deserved second goal + Cummings run in on Fotheringham when the lucky Gers goalie's face got in the way of a certain goal! Also Warburton has a short, selective memory if you reflect back to Hibs last game v Gers at Ibrox when their result was very fortuitous. Lastly was Wallace's hugely deflected McGregor own goal wee bit of the rub of the green eh!! Thankfully it balanced out in our favour at the end of the match and we were deserved winners!!! Thumb up

Warbiola changed his set up a bit for this game which was odd, especially putting so much responsibility on that donkey Wilson. If we hadn't lost mcgeough and had to change it I think we might have won more comfortably.

When Tavernier and Wallace don't get the run of the game rangers don't look that hot a side.

RE: Hibs v Rangers - 01/11/15 - Fredstersafool - 02-11-2015

I said if ye kept Tavernier quiet you'd win the game,I only saw a wee bit of the game so not sure if that was the case but I think I was yer lucky mascot Cummings scored just before I went out and Hanlon scored jsut after I came back in.
