RE: Town v Leeds match thread - JUSTASILLYOLDGIT - 07-11-2015 So disappointed. Never a 3-0er. They perhaps just about deserved it though. Was impressed with Chris Marsden......erm I mean Dempsey, and the rest of the young'ns. ![]() RE: Town v Leeds match thread - ARTERRIER - 07-11-2015 Same old Town. Today just summed up everything that is wrong with the team at the minute, nothing up front, lack of movement and inability to defend. Second half we didn't play too bad but we've just no one to score, only Vaughan looked like scoring, if we can't score goals, we are in serious trouble. The worse thing about today is that Leeds haven't even had to put in a performance today, 3-0 looks pretty comprehensive but all they've done is capitalise on our school boy errors. All 3 goals were avoidable, the 3rd is even worse than I first thought, from our throw in and the lad has all the time in the world to pick out the top corner, there first two are even worse, Cranie and Davidson both culpable. One or two positives but looks like Wagner is going to have his work cut out keeping us up. RE: Town v Leeds match thread - ritchiebaby - 07-11-2015 How Wooton stayed on the pitch, I'll never know ![]() RE: Town v Leeds match thread - Lord Snooty - 08-11-2015 Twenty pound tickets and still only 13,000 home fans turn up. Where are the other 13,000 who accompany us to play off finals? If they don't come to matches like this with cheap ticket prices when are they coming? Joke club they may be but we will never compete on a level playing field with the Champions of Europe, never mind the rest of the Championship. RE: Town v Leeds match thread - Lord Snooty - 08-11-2015 Examiner trying to blame Town fans for smashing up a taxi office which had some Leeds fans in. The trouble took place a whole three hours after the final whistle had gone, so not so much football related as beer related. Blame the breweries, not football. It always gets me that any trouble on a Saturday night is linked to a football team!! It's like a form of profiling by the authorities!! Police officer : "So can you describe your attacker?" Victim : "Oh yes, he was a Huddersfield Town fan!!" Police officer : "Well that explains it, thank you for your detailed and accurate description of your attacker." These incidents have nothing to do with football, and there should be no reference to football in them!! |
