Kemar Roofe joins Colchester on an initial one-month loan. They are in League 1, so at 21 years old he should be tearing it up if he is to have a future in our first team.

Wow, I didn't realise that Roofe is actually six months older than Berahino. Is he still highly thought of, or is it possible that this is last-chance saloon before letting him move on?

Very good win against the Clayheads and Adil Nabi having another good game. A real shame he will probably only have an opportunity for a first team run out if we get a lower league club in the FA Cup, did well against the Villa

Personally, I think that the fact it is a one month loan spell means if he plays really well we can get him to a Championship club for the rest of the season. If he flops at Colchester, he is going to turn 22 in January and will then class as an overage player in our development squad - depending on how highly the club rate him he will then either spend a season or two on loan at various Championship clubs or will be let go and probably end up at Walsall.

Considering the age of Saido and how far he has come being included in the England squad and our main striker, these types of players such as Roofe and O'Sullivan will end up at teams like Walsall following the likes of Mantom etc...

Jack Rose was Accy Stanley's MOTM on Saturday. Highlights reel shows a few good reaction saves, especially between 1:15 and 1:30.

20 year-old Right Back Wesley Atkinson joins League 2 Cambridge on a youth loan until Jan 3rd.
