WM saying Big Vic will play in midfield. I hope they're wrong but if not it shows that a) we have no decent cover in central midfield as betterthanbaird says, and IMO should not have let both Mulumbu and Dorrans go, and b) TP likes playing people out of position to an absurd degree.
It seems slightly unfair on the outcasts to be expected to perform when they only play random games every few months, and when they do play they are out of position. It's almost as if they are being set up to fail.

Norwich have eliminated West Brom on each of the two occasions the two sides have met in the competition, in 1974 and 1979.
The Canaries have lost just one of their last six home League Cup games (4-1 to Aston Villa in the 2012/13 quarter-final).
West Brom have conceded exactly two goals in their last three away League Cup games (W2 L1).
Norwich's last clean-sheet in the competition came in September 2012; since then they have conceded 17 goals in eight games.

One of the strangest line-ups I have ever seen in my life, 433 with Anichebe, Gamboa and Gardner in midfield.
Bench shows that our very talented youth players will get a chance under TP.

I am really pleased that Gamboa is playing in midfield a position some of you may remember me saying I wanted to see him have a go at. Not to sure as to some of the other positions though. Still we shall see.
