OK folks here's another one from the past:-

1) I was borne in 1936

2) I was only 5' 6" tall.

3) I also played for United, Coventry City and Charlton Athletic.

4) I made my Albion debut at Huddersfield Town.

RE: WHO AM I? - aries22 - 22-08-2015

I was born in 1940.
I played for Albion for 9 years.
I once scored a rare headed goal past a young Peter Shilton against Leicester City in the 1966-67 season (aries22 told me to put that in, because he was at that game!).
After I played for Albion, I won a Third Division championship medal in 1970-71.
Who am I?

Was it the goalkeeper Peter Latchford who then went on to Celtic?

Well done Spen you got it in one. Thumb up

We tend to think of Bob Latchford because of his goal scoring record and forget that there were two other brothers who also made the big time.

OK let's try one more:-

1) I was born in Co. Durham in 1939

2) I played for the Albion for over 12 years.

3) I was a utility player for the Albion.

4) I once scored a hat trick against Stoke although I was playing as a full back.

5) I have an equally famous nephew.

Peter Latchford - I remember him, played against him when I had a trial with the Albion which was probably that year!

Hello hello, Is that you Fireymousse Whistle Big Grin

No it isn't THAT DICKHEAD! I really did have a couple of trials back then - didn't make it of course. Bryan Robson was watching the game which was triallists v third team. I was in goal for the triallists and Peter was in goal for the third team.
Apologies accepted in advance! Smile
