I don't think Warburton puts players in the side just for the sake of it, hence his use of a relatively small number of players at Brentford last season. We might see 1 or 2 different faces but I expect it to be largely the same squad used so far with some rotated to the starting XI from the bench (Shiels, Temps, maybe Clark to start).

Nicky Law not in the starting XI for the first time since something like March 2014. Quite an attacking midfield 3 that, although Shiels played a more defensive role under McCall so I suppose it's not entirely guns-ho. Like the intent though.

Usual shite refereeing. Let the wee team off with absolutely everything because they don't know any better.
Really slack play in the last quarter of the game which was pretty disappointing. We need to maintain a standard for the full 90 no matter who the opposition is. We'll get punished by Hibs if we play like that again.

That was a good game overall, Rangers scored both goals in the first half but seemed to ease off in the second.
Rangers should have had a penalty in the second half when Oduwa was body blasted into touch by the Ayr centre-back !
