You're right - it's not a typical Scottish attitude. It is however a typical Scottish media attitude to a flair player who happens to play for Rangers. A 19yo Hamilton Accies, ICT or even Hibs player trying the same would have garnered absolutely no response at all.

Hope so. Straight yellow card and a full-back under pressure for the rest of the game wouldn't be a bad thing for Rangers. I know I wouldn't like to be facing another Oduwa run if I'm on a yellow already.

Why not just hope your defender defends as well as the Alloa bloke did?
