Last I heard was he had taken a knock during pre-season, but that was a while back now, not heard anything since.

I think he's missed the boat with us. If he doesn't train soon he'll be on his bike because the coach will planely have to bring in another striker if he wants auto. I suppose if the situation doesn't balloon, and its just hot air as these things go in cycles, he could make the sub's bench. Just don't put the cart before the horse as he could be a one trick pony  Laugh

He could prove to be a useful running behind the front man and being able to shuttle the ball between attack and midfield but he certainly isn't going to walk into the team and maybe being left out is the rocket he needs to get him moving.  After all he ain't no Van Persie and could find himself in transit to another club if he doesn't buckle up his ideas!!

Bollocks  Angry If I'd thought about it I'm sure I could have fitted 'Rocket' into my previous post  Doh

Perhaps the lad just needs a lift  Laugh

How about a  Smartass  for putting the most modes of transport into a legible post Chaz ?  Whistle

Talking of posts, I used to lift the funniest comment, IMO, from the previous thread and have a sort of honours board on the next MT  Thumb up

An Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman went into a shop during The war.

I'll have an apple,' said The Englishman. That'll be £2,' said The shopkeeper. The price is gone up with The war.'
I'll have an orange,' said The Scotsman. That'll be £3,' said The shopkeeper. The price is gone up with The war.' Then he noticed that The Irishman had a hump on his back.
'What's that on your back?' he asked him. 'It's me bum, said The Irishman. 'It's gone up with The war.'

I surveyed 100 women and asked them what shampoo they used when showering. 98 of them said,

"How did you get in here?"
