One game down, 35 to go, in the same entertaining and winning vein. Keeper can't kick and defence needs work, but all in all I'm quite pleased with progress so far. RE: SPFL2, Friday 07/08/2015, Rangers 3-1 St Mirren - struth - 07-08-2015 Stats for the match Possession 63 - 37 Shots 25 - 6 On target 10 - 1 Corners 8 - 4 Shows well for the future I would think if the mentality can be keptat this level. Sure the accuracy will come; also the goalie, Ridgers, had a number of very good saves. RE: SPFL2, Friday 07/08/2015, Rangers 3-1 St Mirren - Fredstersafool - 07-08-2015 Two horse race after watching that. RE: SPFL2, Friday 07/08/2015, Rangers 3-1 St Mirren - supercooper - 08-08-2015 Keeper is shocking re kicking, having to Position himself every back pass. Tell us tomorrow after watching hibs fred. RE: SPFL2, Friday 07/08/2015, Rangers 3-1 St Mirren - El Car - 08-08-2015 I don't think we played all that well in the second half and St. Mirren definitely caused us more problems as a result. We had a bit of luck with the penalty but their keeper also did a lot to keep them in the game. I'm OK with us passing it at the back because the players seem confident enough to get it right most of the time. If I remember correctly their goal came as a direct result of Kiernan hitting a longer, high ball. Good 3 points to claim, maintains our 100% start to the season and most of our lads played well within themselves (Wallace and Waghorn were the big exceptions), so we can still do better. RE: SPFL2, Friday 07/08/2015, Rangers 3-1 St Mirren - supercooper - 08-08-2015 Still think we are favourites for the title. I would think after just one game, that would be a dangerous and foolish thought Fred. If Gers can keep that up then they should be in the mix, but there are a few sides who could put a challenge in apart from Hibs I think. Hibees didnt do well last season early doors, if memory serves but came into a bit of form. Hearts started well and kept it up til they won, so fair do's to them; they deserved it. If Rangers want the same accolade then they need to do the same, and I think Mark Warburton is the man to do it judging by the way he has set out his stall. BUT, and its a big but; they have to show they can do it home, and away, every week. RE: SPFL2, Friday 07/08/2015, Rangers 3-1 St Mirren - supercooper - 08-08-2015 It was a straight ball through the middle which was disconcerting. All that said great response it wont be a stroll but Gers for the title. RE: SPFL2, Friday 07/08/2015, Rangers 3-1 St Mirren - Fredstersafool - 08-08-2015 Of course it won't be a stroll hibs will see to that |
