I watched most of it and we were 3-1 down with about 10 minutes left. We played ok but we clearly still need signings (full backs!) and Salzburg are probably just a better team than us. Some of the youngsters showed promise.

Finished 3-1. Our youth team (plus Sess & Pocognoli) gave a decent account of themselves in the second half, although Salzburg did pretty much sit back and let them play. Adil Nabi took his goal well. We're obviously threadbare, need those new players in ASAP. Same old story!

Only a friendly and result doesn't matter but we need to start getting some signings in - and quality ones at that - I'm getting slightly edgy about the way some of the teams around us are going about their business (Capoue to Watford, Cabaye to Palace etc.) while we are clearly being affected by the looming takeover even though they said we wouldn't.

Didn't watch the game but we should be dispatching Red Bull Salzburg - they aren't the force they were a couple of seasons back when they had Mane and Kampl.

Any news on whether the friendlies in America will be live on the internet?

They have been in the past, I don't see any reason they shouldn't be again.

Well according to the press Orlando will have a seriously weakened team to play us on Wednesday with their only area on the pitch where they are at full strength being in goal.

On Wednesday in the thick of the MLS season and with its roster stretched to the absolute limits, Orlando City will welcome English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

"We would've loved for it to come in different circumstances, having everyone fit and healthy and everyone back here," Lions' coach Adrian Heath said. "We could've played everyone and given everyone minutes. Unfortunate part is that we have a really important game at the weekend and we're down to the bare bones. We always welcome international teams and it's something we've really looked forward to over the years, but the timing could've been a little bit better for us."

A roll call of the Lions' roster would look a little something like this: present and available (18 players), out injured (six players), out for international duty (two players), out for other reasons (two players).

RE: The Summer Friendlies Thread 2015 - Ska'dForLife-WBA - 14-07-2015

We welcomed Hereford back into existence tonight with a 6-0 romp at Edgar Street. Goals from Wright, Samir Nabi, Roberts, Sessegnon, an own goal and a trialist's penalty.

Think we kick off vs Orlando at 9 tonight?

RE: The Summer Friendlies Thread 2015 - Ska'dForLife-WBA - 15-07-2015

It's past nine now, so that's a no. Still 12.30am as far as I'm aware.
