Don't worry guys, Liverpool losing 5-0 at Stoke in Gerrard's final game is grabbing all the air time, not sure anyone has noticed that you have failed to turn up in the first half!!!

Here's the comeback!

Anyone tell me why TP didn't use the young striker on the bench and brought on Vic and Baird? 4 nil down, nothing to play for, surely it's a case of go on son, show us what you can do!

At least Villa finished 17th.

A slightly better second half and consolation goal salvaged some pride from that. Could have been a lot worse. Let's hope Arsenal are in the same kind of mood next weekend, eh?

Oh well ..... that's that then.
Looking forward is much easier for us now!

Blessing in Disguise

If ever TP didn't realise we will struggle against anyone with pace he does now,

And if he didn't realise the whole team needs pace throughout the squad he does now,

And Villa avoid relegation again by one fooking place ...........

In fairness, that's what a lot of us were (wrongly) expecting in most of our last few games, so I can grin and bear this one pretty easily.
We won the second half, anyway. Rolleyes

Berahino has now become just the third Albion player to appear in every single game of a Premier League season, after Gera in 2004/05 and Greening in 2005/06.
