And still holding on.

And an injury time breakaway makes it 2-0. Thumb up

Two goals scored but it's big hugs for the goalie at full time. Smile

Frustratingly goalless first half. Dominated by England and hit the bar just before the break. Seems like it's just a matter of time before we score but the longer it goes, the more frustrating it'll get in this must win match. A game and a half gone and we still have no goals.
Come on England.

Get in! 70 mins. Fran Kirby. 1-0.

2-0. Karen Carney.

Late consolation for Mexico but England hold out to win 2-1. Thumb up

So England just need to beat Colombia to progress. Surely their keeper can't perform the heroics like she did today and surely the ref can't be as bad either!!! All to play for in this match which should see both teams at least trying to win it.

2-0 up against Columbia atm.

Was that the lead singer from Bow Wow Wow that just came on?

Would you believe Columbia got a goal in the last minute of injury time! However, hung on for 2-1. We're through, though.

The next round against Norway will be tough, not sure England will have enough to beat them.
