Peace wont hand the club over Willy Nilly, by the sounds of it he is making sure the clubs interests are being taken care of possibly before his own gain which is a rarity these days.
I think Peace has done amazing at building a solid foundation and if someone wants to come in and be a bit more adventurous then happy days! The money coming from SKy etc... is now going to allow us to sign a few more maybe exciting players, I welcome the move whilst holding a massive respect and tank you to Mr Peace

People keep talking about the new Sky deal, more money, etc., but EVERY club is benefiting by (more or less) the same amount, so there will be no relative improvement for us or anyone else in the PL as every club will be able to offer 'more attractive terms' to players (as if they didn't before).
Personally I welcome the seeming trust and good relations between JP & TP, and, because it could jeapordise that, am very wary of the club being sold to a new owner

I must admit, I'm getting a bit bored of us always just surviving relegation,
Id rather see someone come in and splash the cash a little bit and see if they can push us on and even challenge for europa

But again (as we discuss every time this subject comes up), what's in that for the new owner? Unless they're a lifelong fan who wants to squander their personal fortune just to see the club finish a few places higher - and that's a real rarity - there's just no point. The Europa League doesn't make clubs any money, and the Champions League is a closed shop.
Southampton are the current club dashing themselves against the rocks of fruitless ambition, and I reckon they're only a season or two away from the owners losing interest and the team coming a real cropper.

This new money in the premier league is all good and well, as long as you stay in the PL!!! The disparity in income between the PL and the Championship is bigger than the Grand Canyon these days, but so is the wage bill that each club has. I really hope clubs are beginning to put relegation clauses into players contracts because if they don't relegation will really push some clubs to the brink of disaster!! Of course I have very little faith that many teams are doing this, do you guys know if WBA put these clauses in??

Lots do it now, but I think QPR did not follow suit and that's what killed them.

On that point - not distracting from the theme - does anybody know what sort of salary we pay? (I'm not thinking of applying).
Anybody know how the bonuses are geared (eg £5k per point, or individual match bonuses for beating Chelsea, etc)
