Carroll is as fit as a fiddle. ![]() RE: Huddersfield Town v Fulham - MNTerrier - 19-03-2015 gutted for the lad , been one of our more consistent players this year, i hope he come back stronger i also hope while hes out QPR find a permanent replacement for him and let him go so he then signs for us for nowt RE: Huddersfield Town v Fulham - EastLondonTerrier - 21-03-2015 On a side note, wonder if all the afobe haters will quieten down now hes englands leading scorer in all divisions! Knew the kid was a talent. Cas must be over the moon. RE: Huddersfield Town v Fulham - Lord Snooty - 21-03-2015 Massive following from the team who were a Premier league team last year. About 250. RE: Huddersfield Town v Fulham - Amelia Chaffinch - 21-03-2015 Think we are going for the record of how many matches we can concede in the first minute. RE: Huddersfield Town v Fulham - ritchiebaby - 21-03-2015 I'm sorry, but any player who has a penalty saved in the centre of the goal shouldn't be called a striker. Put it where the keeper can't reach it, you're supposed to know where that is! ![]() I just can't believe Town missed 2 penalties, had 31 shots - 13 on target - , played against 10 men for half an hour and still couldn't score. I look forward with interest to the excuses served up this time by Chris Powell. RE: Huddersfield Town v Fulham - Amelia Chaffinch - 21-03-2015 He did that for the second one and hit the post! He shouldn't have been taking the second in any case. RE: Huddersfield Town v Fulham - Lord Snooty - 21-03-2015 I blame Vaughan for that. Where was our main goalscorer when we desperately needed him? Sat in the stand because he can't keep his bloody shirt on. RE: Huddersfield Town v Fulham - matacaster - 21-03-2015 Listened to match commentary on BBC Radio. Powell does not appear to be the sharpest knife in the block and has a propensity for overly late substitutions which benefit no one and a game plan even he doesn't seem to be able to understand . His post-match interview perhaps give an insight into why the team often seem to lack drive and energy these days - I nearly fell asleep listening to him - God knows what his half time team talk is like. He needs a Duracell implant. Actually, I think he needs to go - he's got even less energy, drive and ambition as a manager than Lee Clarke (who could also make a fortune making recordings to put you to sleep - listen to his interviews on TV). Wells is potentially very good, but needs LOTS of shooting practice - 2 penalty misses is something no class striker should achieve - master the basics first! As others have said Vaughan is an idiot for getting sent off in last match. Vaughan owes Huddersfield big time, Dean paid his considerable wages for ages when injured and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets injured again long term, players with injury records like his rarely stay fit for long. I would have thought the least he can do is behave himself like a professional in return. RE: Huddersfield Town v Fulham - WakeyTerrier - 21-03-2015 Properly frazzled off. Any team that can't score from 2 pens deserves Jack. Hotel thinks we are improving season on season...we aren't but we are going backwards unless you count the wages being reduced season on season Hoyle not hotel....effing predictive text |
